Four days ago, at the Solstice, the sun reached its fullest point and began its slow return to quiet. The Solar Season of Cancer has arrived. And something in the interior of your life is already responding — not because you decided it would, but because this is what this season does. It draws things inward. It stills what has been in motion. It begins, quietly and without announcement, to morph what has been forming into something more essentially yours.
You may not feel it as a process. You may simply feel quieter than usual. More drawn to stillness. Less interested in the noise of forward motion. That is the season working.
You don’t have to understand it. You don’t have to direct it. Something in you is already being shaped — in the silence, in the slowness, in the simple act of being here. Let it.
